Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the seemykitchen.live website and the See My Kitchen Live apps for Android and iOS, as someone looking at kitchens. If you operate a restaurant that streams here, the Restaurant Publisher Terms apply to you as well, and take precedence where they differ.

1. What this service is

1.1 We show live video from cameras installed by licensed food businesses in their own kitchens, alongside the licence and listing information those businesses give us. The purpose is to let you decide whether somewhere looks like a place you would eat.

1.2 We do not take orders, take payments, deliver food, or earn a commission on anything you buy. When you tap through to Swiggy or Zomato you leave us entirely, and their terms and privacy policies apply from that point. We are not a party to your order and have no ability to alter, cancel, refund or track it.

1.3 We are a technical intermediary. The restaurant is the publisher of its own video and listing content.

2. No account, no charge

2.1 Looking at kitchens requires no account and costs nothing. We do not charge diners, and there is nothing to subscribe to.

2.2 Because there is no account, there is nothing for you to lose access to and nothing for you to delete. What we do and do not hold is set out in the Privacy Policy.

3. What we do not promise

3.1 The service is provided “as is”.A stream depends on a restaurant's camera, recorder, internet connection and electricity supply, none of which we control. Kitchens go offline. The picture is deliberately low resolution.

3.2 We do not inspect kitchens and we do not certify anyone. Licence numbers, expiry dates, hygiene scores, opening hours, offers and descriptions are supplied by the restaurant or reproduced from a public register. We do not independently verify them, and a listing here is not an endorsement, a hygiene guarantee, or a statement that any food is safe, lawful, halal, vegetarian, or free of any allergen or ingredient.

3.3 A live feed shows one camera, at one angle, at one moment. It is evidence, not proof. Do not treat it as a complete account of how a kitchen operates.

3.4 If you have a food safety concern about a business, it should go to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India or your local food safety officer. We are not a regulator and cannot act as one.

4. What you must not do

4.1 You must not:

• record, capture, re-transmit, embed, republish or redistribute any stream or still image from this service, whether for commercial purposes or not;
• attempt to access a stream other than through the app or website — including by extracting, sharing or reusing playback addresses or tokens;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract listings, images or data;
• attempt to publish, inject or otherwise cause any video to appear on any kitchen feed;
• probe, load-test, interfere with or attempt to circumvent any security, authorisation or rate limit;
• use the service to identify, track, monitor, harass or build any record of any individual appearing in a stream;
• use any part of this service to train a machine learning model, or to perform facial recognition or biometric analysis of any kind;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose.

4.2 The people visible in these streams are at work. They are not performers and they have not consented to being watched by you personally, only to their employer streaming its kitchen. Treat them accordingly.

5. Intellectual property

5.1 The site, the apps, their design and their content are ours or our licensors'. Restaurant names, logos and marks belong to those businesses. Swiggy and Zomato are trademarks of their respective owners; we link to them and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with either.

5.2 Nothing here grants you any licence to reuse the streams. See clause 4.1.

6. Liability

6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, from any decision you make on the basis of what you see here, from any food you order or consume, or from any dealing you have with a restaurant or an ordering platform.

6.2 Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Reporting something

7.1 If you see anything on a stream or a listing that is unlawful, unsafe, misleading, or otherwise wrong, write to seemykitchenlive@gmail.com. Tell us which kitchen and roughly when.

7.2 Child safety concerns are handled with priority under our Child Safety Standards. Use the subject line CHILD SAFETY.

7.3 We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021. On notice of unlawful content we act to disable access within 36 hours.

8. Suspension

8.1 We may block access from any device, network or account that breaches clause 4, without notice.

9. Apps

9.1 The apps are distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Those stores' own terms apply to the download itself. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps, and are not parties to these terms.

9.2 Older versions of an app may stop working if they can no longer be supported safely. Keep the app updated.

10. General

10.1 We may change these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the version at the top of this page, and continued use afterwards is acceptance.

10.2 These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.

10.3 If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
